community. The MIRM council is guided

The purpose of the MIRM Council
shall be to provide leadership
and membership services
through a professional
organization of pre
and post retiree members:
To promote – the interests of retirement and retirees in Malaysia. To influence – local, state and national policy affecting retirement and retirees. To enhance – retirees lifelong and continuous learning with self-development and socio-economic advancement in retirement. To uphold – the integrity of the Council and MIRM. To foster – support and collegiality among its members. To provide – leadership and membership services through a professional organization of retirees. To become – a catalyst in the societal and national development for retirees by ensuring
continuous interaction with industry and other research based institutions in Malaysia and abroad.

MIRM is for the pre and post retirees
communities across Malaysia. It’s what
MIRM does better.

Driving Strategic Action
Finalized in early 2018, the MIRM together
with KPPMB community has worked tirelessly
to turn Strategic Plans from a visionary documents
to a realistic action plan. The Strategic
Plan identifies nine themes (our areas of strength)
for MIRM – five that form our
foundation and four that sets
us apart from other institution:

Each of our integrated departments,
training faculty and MIRM
organization structure and

a tall order strategic vision to
demonstrate united efforts to become
the one of the world’s most innovative
retirement management institute.
